Ultrasonic radar, also known as the parking assist system, is a use of the principle of ultrasonic, ultrasonic probe sent by loading in the rear bumper on the waves crash barrier, reflecting the sonic probe, which calculated between the vehicle and the obstacle distance. Reversing radar is mainly composed of three parts:
Sensor (probe), the host, display equipment. Sensor sends and receives ultrasonic signal, then the signal will be transmitted to the host computer inside analysis, then through the display device display. Along with the people to the automobile driver assistance system usability requirements increase, as well as the MCU of falling prices and car electronic system network development, reversing radar model are intelligent sensing system based on mcu. This paper introduces a kind of ultrasonic reversing radar monitoring alarm system based on MSP430 single chip microcomputer.
The hardware design of the system and
The reversing radar is mainly used to display the car behind the scenes, between the measurement and the obstacle distance. The whole design is composed of MSP430 microcontroller, ultrasonic module, ultrasonic receiving module, video capture module, LCD display module and voice alarm module. Peripheral expansion of a series of functional modules such as LCD, USB interface, USB host interface connected to the camera module collects the video image information system, combined with the ARM processor to realize the video / image acquisition, compression, and sends the data to the receiving end after collection, and through the LCD display.
Reversing radar design consists of five parts: the ultrasonic generator module, ultrasonic receiving module, camera video capture system, LCD display module, voice alarm system, the overall system structure shown in figure 1.1.

Each module to complete specific tasks are as follows:
1.1.1 ranging system: the ultrasonic generator module, ultrasonic receiving module, MCU control system, used to measure between the car and the obstacle distance.
1.1.2 display alarm system: mainly by the USB camera, the control system, a display alarm module and voice, used to display detailed scene after the car and the car side and through color liquid crystal display, at the same time through the voice prompt alarm.
1.1.3 control system: it is the core of the system, using MSP430 microcontroller, control the operation of the system, to control all kinds of interface circuit.
